There are a variety of reasons why you may need to see a foot doctor. The musculoskeletal system of the feet, ankles, and lower legs involve many different parts that have to work together in unison to create smooth and pain-free movement. If any of these parts are not functioning properly, the whole system can suffer!

Let me tell you a little about myself. I graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in 1979, attended the PA College of Podiatric Medicine/Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine from 1979-1983 and began my private practice in Millersville in the Millersville Center as a solo practitioner. Four children and 11 years later, I re-located to 882 Millersville Road in Lancaster. In 2002 I acquired an office in Willow Street, PA to serve the needs of southern Lancaster County. 2020 marks my 37th year in practice.

Foot Pain

Depending on the location, whether it is the heel, arch or ball of the foot, the treatment plan will vary. At Henderson Podiatry, our goal is to treat each patient CONSERVATIVELY before any surgical intervention is discussed. Symptoms include stiffness of joints (especially in the morning), limitation of joint movement, pain, tenderness, redness, rashes, and/or swelling in the joints.

Heel Pain

Heel pain is unpleasant and can prevent you from enjoying your favorite activities. This is the most common condition we treat at Henderson Podiatry. There are many options that can resolve this including orthotics, shoe modifications, and MLS laser therapy. We can create a customized plan for each patient.
