Cataract Surgery
Our femtosecond laser-guided cataract surgery offers precise removal of clouded lenses and implantation of advanced intraocular lenses. This minimally invasive procedure corrects vision impairments caused by cataracts, with options for lifestyle lens implants to reduce dependency on glasses. Patients benefit from quicker recovery times and improved visual clarity, supported by pre- and post-operative care tailored to individual needs.
Glaucoma Treatment
We provide comprehensive management for open-angle and closed-angle glaucoma, including medicated eye drops, laser therapy, and surgical interventions. Our approach focuses on reducing intraocular pressure to prevent optic nerve damage, with regular monitoring to adjust treatments as needed. Patients receive education on disease progression and lifestyle modifications to preserve vision long-term.
Corneal Transplant
Specialized corneal transplant procedures like DSEK, DMEK, and DALK replace damaged corneal layers with donor tissue to restore vision. Our surgeons use advanced techniques to minimize rejection risks and accelerate healing, offering personalized follow-up care to ensure graft success and optimal visual outcomes.
Dry Eye Treatment
TearCare technology addresses resistant dry eye by clearing blocked meibomian glands, improving tear quality and ocular comfort. Combined with customized regimens of artificial tears, anti-inflammatory drops, and lifestyle adjustments, our treatments alleviate symptoms like irritation and blurred vision, enhancing patients' quality of life.
Eye Exams
Comprehensive eye exams assess visual acuity, ocular health, and systemic conditions affecting vision. Using advanced diagnostic tools, we detect early signs of cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and other conditions. Exams include refraction testing for glasses/contacts and personalized recommendations for maintaining lifelong eye health.

My doctor put a referral for me to go to this office. I called several times to make an appointment. Each time they told me they had not received the fax. I asked my medical group to resend the fax. They still didn't receive it. Finally they told me that they had changed their fax number and I needed to give their new fax number to my medical group. (Providence) If this would have happened in 1982 it would have been bad. In 2022 there are no words.

This is about the office on Second Street. While the doctors are adequate, the front office staff is the worst I've ever experienced. I have been a patient here for over five years, and the rude and incompetent service they provide has been consistently bad. They do not listen carefully to figure out what is needed to assist you. They do not take and forward messages correctly. They seem to want to make the least possible effort to do their jobs. There are a lot of very good ophthalmologists and opticians in the Santa Rosa area. Why go to a place where you won't be treated competently and with respect?

Easy to schedule an appointment. Copay if any, is due at time of visit. The MA that helped me was Jamie, she was very fast and efficient. I wasn't able to see that well after appointment, but went over to optical to pick out frames. Process was so easy! I called over the phone to pay since forgot checkbook at home. They have been good each time. 7-10 business day turn around time for frames. I saw Dr. Abramson, he was fast and efficient.

Not a good experience. My optometrist sent me here for a eye problem. They charged me for another eye exam and referred me to their specialist that can't see me at their office. It took a year to find out they couldn't help.

First it took a while to get an appointment but then whenever I call the office no one typically answers. I canceled that appointment and then today I get a text to set up another appointment of which I have never had a first appointment here. I think this place is expanding too fast and they are not accounting for all of the patients they have. I have chosen not to be a patient here.

Wow! I completely understand that a lot of businesses are suffering due to the lack of employees, but that doesn't mean that you treat your clients any differently. It's not our fault that things are suffering. I came in for my annual visit and the tech was either having a bad day or frustrated at something. Her attitude and demeanor was as if I was wasting her time. She didn't welcome me when she called my name.
She was very robotic and on some level quite cold. When I couldn't keep my eyes open for one of the tests she let me know in her actions that I irritated her. If I treated my students as she treated me I wouldn't last very long in my position. The Dr has the same non existing bedside manner. There is no warmth when he speaks to you. I don't mind a doctor getting straight to the point and not hiding behind a bush, I actually appreciate that but it's all in the way you deliver the message that counts. I couldn't wait to leave the office and be done with my appointment. I will probably be looking for a new eye doctor.
