Dr Milgraum was the first physician to perform cosmetic laser tattoo removal in an office setting. Unlike dermabrasion the doctor is able to remove tattoos with a minimal chance of scarring. We utilize the Q switched Ruby laser, Q switched Yag laser and Alexandrite laser for tattoo removal. Intense laser light passes harmlessly through the top layers of the skin to be selectively absorbed by the tattoo pigment.

Dr Milgraum helped develop the first laser for permanent hair reduction. Our most effective laser for unwanted hair and, hirsutism, is the long pulsed Ruby laser though we utilize several other lasers depending on your skin type. Laser hair removal is done safely and painlessly for all shades of skin color including black skin.

The Thulium 1927nm laser is an infra-red device. It gently creates microscopic channels with minimal disruption to the stratum cornium, the upper level of the skin. These channels improve skin permeability for therapeutic agents applied to the skin. Between the channels there are untouched bridges of tissue which helps speed recovery from this gentle laser treatment.
