I have had years of excellent care which includes routine check - ups, cataract surgery, surgery to permanently improve my eye sight for distance vision and repair of a retina. I couldn't ask for more in terms of improving my eye sight and related quality of life.

I've had the best experience here! They are so friendly while also being very fast and efficient, and take very good care of you. I received ASA laser eye surgery in both eyes (one at a time, ~2 months apart). I was a bit nervous going in but the surgery team made me feel at ease and did a fabulous job! This option takes longer for your eyesight to improve compared to LASIK (but is safer, which is why I went with it!), and it took my eyes 2-3 months to achieve a high degree of stable clarity. I'm SO happy with my new eyesight and so glad I finally pulled the trigger!

When I decided the time was right to have corrective vision surgery, the task of choosing the right doctor was daunting. I decided to go with Dr. Chen after reading testimonials and learning he has had this practice for over a decade. I am so glad it was the correct choice as Dr. Chen and his staff were courteous, knowledgeable, and thorough. I was very nervous during the LASIK procedure but the doctor and operating room staff were reassuringly professional and everything turned out better than I expected! I would now recommend anyone looking into attaining improved vision a consultation at this practice!

I decided to have PRK surgery done by Dr. Chen and could not be happier with my experience! After a thorough consultation I was very impressed by the office. Every team member was so helpful and Dr. Chen was extremely informative about my surgery options. I now have 20/15 vision and never realized how much I would appreciate not having to deal with contacts. I highly recommend scheduling a consult for all of those who have thought about lasik or PRK surgery. I will be referring my family and friends to Dr. Chen and his team at North County Laser Eye Associates.
