Services
Cataract Surgery
Our advanced phacoemulsification technique removes cloudy lenses and implants artificial intraocular lenses through small incisions. Performed under topical anesthesia, this painless procedure typically requires no stitches and allows rapid recovery. We utilize state-of-the-art ultrasonic probes to ensure precise lens fragmentation and removal, restoring clear vision for patients with cataracts.
LASIK
Laser In Situ Keratomileusis reshapes corneal layers to correct refractive errors, reducing dependence on glasses. Our procedure creates a thin corneal flap that self-seals post-treatment, enabling quick recovery. Patients benefit from our experience with laser vision correction and advanced diagnostic equipment to ensure optimal outcomes for suitable candidates.
Glaucoma Treatment
We offer comprehensive management for elevated intraocular pressure, including medication regimens and laser surgeries like trabeculoplasty. Our approach combines regular monitoring with tailored interventions to prevent optic nerve damage. Both medical and surgical options are available to control fluid drainage and maintain healthy eye pressure levels.
Diabetic Retinopathy Surgery
Our laser photocoagulation treatments address retinal complications from diabetes through outpatient procedures. Multiple sessions may be required to stabilize retinal blood vessels and prevent vision loss. We emphasize early detection through regular screenings and coordinate care with patients' primary healthcare providers for comprehensive diabetes management.
Strabismus Surgery
Corrective muscle surgery realigns misaligned eyes by adjusting tension points on ocular muscles. This procedure addresses both functional and cosmetic concerns associated with strabismus. Our approach considers individual anatomy to achieve balanced eye positioning and improved binocular vision for patients requiring surgical intervention.

Was a patient for several years; had liked and respected him. I recently questioned him about a billing practice that I subsequently found out had been going on for years. I questioned him about this questionable and seemingly unorthodox billing methods. He called his insurance company who then, on his behalf, fired me on voice mail. Nice. Fast forward to these past few days. My new provider has left multiple unanswered voice mails. Until his office returns these phone calls, I can't help but wonder if my medical records are being withheld. Stay tuned.

I saw the sign for Zr. Zangari's business on my way home from work and thought "Great - an eye doctor right on my way home that I can drop in and get everything taken care of." Wrong - I scheduled an appointment for a contact lens exam. I showed up for my 10:00 AM appointment about 25 minutes early and was taken 22 minutes late at 10:22 AM. However, the story doesn't end. I needed to order contact lenses.
It was early December at this point. I order lenses and was contacted by the office to let me know that they were in. I arrived to pick up my lenses on December 28 and the office was supposed to be open until 4 PM. I arrived at 3:50PM and the doors were locked. Ok, maybe that was my fault. So the next day I arrive at 8:00 AM for their posted opening time. No one is there. I wait until 8:30 and still no one answers my knocks on the door.
I call the office at 10:00 AM to see if they are open and then explain I was there at 8 AM, the woman that answers, says " We were open - I was in the back shredding paper and forgot to open the doors" Verdict. Horrible customer service and a lack of medical professionalism, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
