Services
Bunions
Our bunion treatment focuses on conservative approaches first, including shoe modifications, padding, and orthotics. We provide personalized care for progressive foot deformities affecting the big toe joint. Our podiatrist evaluates severity through in-office X-rays and creates tailored treatment plans to prevent progression and relieve pain.
Fungal Nails
We diagnose and treat fungal nail infections using prescription antifungal medications and targeted therapies. Our approach addresses both cosmetic concerns and potential complications for diabetic patients. Treatment plans consider infection severity and patient health history to optimize outcomes while minimizing recurrence risk.
Diabetic Foot Care
Our diabetic foot care program includes annual exams, wound monitoring, and preventive education. We address nerve damage and circulation issues through regular check-ups and patient education on daily foot care routines. Medicare-covered orthotics help reduce pressure points for high-risk patients.
Ingrown Toenails
We treat ingrown toenails with conservative measures like nail lifting and partial removal, reserving surgery for severe cases. Our care includes infection management and prevention strategies. Diabetic patients receive immediate attention to prevent complications from this common foot condition.
Plantar Fasciitis
Our treatment combines stretching exercises, orthotics, and shockwave therapy for chronic heel pain. We address inflammation of the foot's connective tissue through conservative approaches before considering advanced interventions. Patient education focuses on activity modification and home care techniques.

Left a needle attached to my suture in my bandage. Doesn't listen. I would give zero stars if I could.

I had a really bad achilles problem, so bad i could hardly walk or wear a shoe. after months of suffering, i went to dr. murphy. he suggested shock therapy treatment, i was apprehensive at first. however after a long road to recovery, i am at a place where i never thought i'd be. i can walk, go up and down stairs and am pain free almost all of the time. i highly recommend him and his treatment. what he did for me was life altering as i can now go out and walk anywhere, no matter the terrain.

My experience with Dr. Murphy and staff was great. Dr. Murphy diagnosed my foot problem, and explained whey I was having foot pain. He recommended the steps I should do to improve the pain and eventually correcting the problem. Dr. Murphy was pleasant and caring. He is the third Podiatrist I have visited in the pass few years, and the one I think I will keep. Thanks Dr. Murphy.

We had a fantastic experience with the Maryland Podiatry Center and Dr Murphy. From the staff to the doctor, everyone was accommodating, friendly and professional. My daughter had an ingrown toenail that had become painful and swollen. We were able to get a new patient appointment with the doctor for later that same day. All of the paperwork was prepared and submitted on-line, so when we arrived, we just verified a few items and were seen by the doctor within a few minutes. Dr Murphy is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and professional.
He examined the toenail, explained exactly what the issue was and what the options were. He then laid out exactly what he was going to do and what to expect. The surgery was completed and we were out of the office in under an hour. The toenail was repaired, the swelling was gone, the pain was gone and everyone was comfortable and happy. All around a great experience.
