Services
Cataract Surgery
Robbins Eye Center specializes in advanced cataract surgery, replacing clouded lenses with premium intraocular options. Procedures include monofocal, multifocal (Crystalens/ReSTOR), and toric lenses for astigmatism correction. With over 30,000 surgeries performed, our team ensures personalized outcomes addressing distance, near, and mid-range vision needs while eliminating cataract-induced cloudiness.
Eye Examinations
Comprehensive eye exams assess visual acuity and detect ocular diseases like glaucoma and macular degeneration. Our evaluations include glasses/contact prescriptions, intraocular pressure testing, and retinal imaging. Preventive care recommendations are tailored to age-related risks, ensuring early intervention for optimal long-term vision health.
Contact Lens Fittings
Custom contact lens fittings accommodate diverse prescriptions, including astigmatism and presbyopia. Services range from basic soft lenses to specialty rigid gas permeable and scleral lenses. Each fitting includes training, starter supplies, and follow-up care to ensure comfort and proper corneal health maintenance.
Glaucoma Management
Our glaucoma treatment focuses on intraocular pressure control through medicated drops, laser therapy, and surgical options. Regular monitoring tracks disease progression, while personalized plans minimize optic nerve damage. Early detection during routine exams prevents irreversible vision loss associated with this asymptomatic condition.
Macular Degeneration Treatment
Advanced diagnostics identify macular degeneration stages, enabling timely interventions like anti-VEGF injections and nutritional supplementation. Our approach combines lifestyle modifications with medical therapies to slow progression and preserve central vision critical for daily activities.

I've been there twice. Doctor Simoncelli is a wonderful doctor! However, unfortunately the awful administration completely overshadows the great doctor experience. I was given an written estimate for my first visit. After the visit, my insurance was billed an additional $60 for "new patient". They told me they would reverse the charge, but after 6 months, probably a dozen phone calls it still has not been reversed.

For my second visit, they told me I had to cover the copay before leaving (which seemed strange because I hadn't the first time). They then billed my HSA for the copay as well. So essentially I paid twice. Again, multiple phone calls and emails to try and resolve. The last email I received was on August 13th "I will be back from vacation next week and will handle". Over a month later and it seems that person never came back from vacation. Doctor Simoncelli is so wonderful. It's too bad the front office is such a disaster.

Dr. Robbins is awesome. She corrected my vision to near perfection 20 years ago with Lasik, and after 20 years and my eyes regressing, she has corrected it again with a lens replacement / cataracts surgery! Perfect result both times! No waiting at all at the office as described by some. They genuinely care about the outcome. Peter, who works closely with the Dr, is the absolute best.knowledgeable like a doctor, caring, responsive.and just a great guy and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend anyone to the practice!

I had my first cataract surgery last week and the kindness of the office staff, Dr Robbins and everyone was commendable. They were concerned for my comfort and I am having my next eye done next week. Peter was so helpful and considerate and as I was very nervous, the surgery staff did all to calm me. Dr Robbins was wonderful! I would highly recommend them to everyone

The environment was neat and ideal. The staff so attentive and professional. The 'technicians' took time and patience to examine my eyes. Everyone was so polite except one person at the front desk (not the lobby front desk). The Doctor was especially so professional, patient and polite. Good job! Keep it up! I highly recommend this place to anyone. You will love it!

One star only because I can't leave zero. If you you don't value your time, this is the place for you! As a first time patient I arrived 15 minutes early for my 10:30 appointment. 45+ minutes later (30+ from my scheduled apt time) and I still wasn't called in. No one came by to say if things were behind, just nothing. Sitting in a room watching people who came in after me be called in. What is the point of a scheduled apt. time if you aren't going to adhere to it?

I'm sure if I was late or didn't show you'd be ready to charge me a late fee. Have respect for your patients, especially a first time client. People take time out of their day and away from work to schedule appointments. Be professional.
