I brought my grandson in here for vomiting and dehydration. He couldn't stop throwing up for 3 days straight. We were taken back within 5 mins which was nice but he wasn't seen by a doctor for over 4 hours. The guy nurse who cared more about himself didn't give my grandson an IV because he didn't want to listen to him cry. He didn't get fluids for over 6 hours.

The doctor finally came in and said he needed an IV so we waited another hour. The female nurses were really sweet. They handled my grandson wonderfully with the IV. I wish I caught the guy nurse's name because I would have complained about his lack of service( roided out guy). We were in the hospital for over 8 and a half hours before being sent home. I will not be returning. I gave a 2 star because the nurses females ones were great.

My father in law has COVID and when I went to pick him up from the ER, the nurses were not wearing N95 MASKS or isolation gowns. One nurse wasn't even wearing her surgical mask properly. So beware if you go there, they are transferring COVID freely from one patient to the next

All they care about it money. Do anything to avoid this hospital, nurses don't get paid enough to care, doctors straight up don't have to care cause they get paid too much for every wrong diagnosis they make up. Have a safe drive to Kingman cause you'll at least be able to afford living afterwords.

I would love to be able to give more stars however with each passing hour, that is highly unlikely. I have been in the ER now 3 hours due to a foot injury. My waiting room time was brief yet I have been alone in the treatment room since. No one has even given me a pain medicine. This is really not a great way to treat patients

I have been around the United States and this is the longest wait I've ever experienced. I've been seen faster in Los Angeles and in Sacramento. This is unexpected especially for Arizona. This place is unprofessional and has no concern for time efficiency and has no compassion for the patients. I'm in the emergency room and a woman who is diabetic in a wheelchair asked the window nurse for a snack because she was diabetic.

The nurse replied " you should have brought something with you if you knew you were diabetic". Horrible. She was brought in by ambulance. I will report this place to the board of directors and any and all agencies I possibly can. Absolutely uncalled for.

Brought my 3 1/2 year old after she fell off the top bunk and had a gash in the back of her head that was bleeding. We have sat here for close to 3 hours without even being seen. They had patients walk in and get taken back immediately and here we are with blood coming down her head and face and can't even be bothered to be seen. If we had taken her to our home hospital in Orange County CA we would be done in the amount of time we've waited.

I wouldn't even come here if I was dying. This is insane. Absolutely insane. How can you call yourself a "Trauma Center" or even an Emergency Department? With the amount of people that come into this city it's appalling that this is what you offer the public.

The almighty DOLLAR is their only objective. If they happen to cure someone in the process, that just seems to be a bonus with this "doctor owned" facility. Their staff is transient which translates to, I'm gone in a week, so who cares? My dog is treated better at his Veterinarian

I give them zero Stars if I could. My experiences with this hospital I've been some of the worst experiences in my life. I went to the emergency room you need to get a covid-19 test. I waited almost 5 hours before I seen. And they had no rapid test I was going to wait a week for my results. They end up doing my insurance over $2,400 for that visit to take a covid-19 test.

My insurance made them just over $1,700 of that. 2 days after that message I went to Walgreens and had it covered test done for FREE. I was able to look up my results to that covid test at Walgreens in less than 12 hours after taking the test. THEY NEED TO BE INVESTIGATIVE FOR INSURANCE FRAUD! A prior visit I had to this hospital was for an infected cut on my finger.

At the time of that visit I actually didn't have insurance. It was only a three hour wait in the emergency room before I was seen by a doctor or nurse. The nurse removed my bandage but didn't really didn't do anything to treat my cut. The doctor came in and barely even looked at my finger before he just agreed about it being infected and then left the room.

The nurse gave me fresh bandages to put on my finger myself just before leaving the room herself. The nurse came right back with my discharge papers and a prescription for an antibiotic, then sent me on my way. I ended up getting a $1,000 bill for that visit cause I didn't have insurance. $800 of it being a charge for being Seen by the doctor. Well I didn't pay that bill so they sent it to collections.

Unfortunately about 8 months later I went back to this same hospital for something different but by that time I had gotten private insurance. Well right after that visit I got a statement from my insurance company showing that the hospital had post dated everything from my visit for my finger and billed it to my insurance. I'm not too sure if that's really legal or not but I would imagine not since they lied about the date of my visit and when the services were provided.

As well instead of $1,000 they billed my insurance just over $1,400 for the visit and services given. With doing so they actually almost caused me to hit the cap for medical coverage with my insurance. Meanwhile they did so without ever sending any kind of notice to let me know that they were going to bill my insurance for a visit that took place before even had any insurance. I encourage anyone else that has had any similar experiences at Havasu Regional to share thier story too. It's wrong what they are getting away with.

My mom has been a resident of Lake Havasu for over 10 years. Unfortunately she has had several situations where she has had to visit Havasu Regional Medical Center. I cannot find the words to describe the horrific experiences she has had on multiple occasions. This occurred even before the "pandemic" that each of their staff wanted to use as an excuse.

I am sympathetic to how hard they are working and the long hours, but when you have an 80 yr old female who has pneumonia and is vomiting and having trouble breathing, I feel as though this is truly an emergency situation and should be handled as such. 14 hrs in the ER and no results is absolutely un-called for. I would highly recommend not going to this ER if you can avoid it.

Went to the emergency clinic a block away for a health issue. Was charged $75 co-pay and all they did was refer me to their hospital next door as they never treated me for anything Immediately went to hospital nextdoor for reccomebded ultra sound. Was told my Insurance was not accepted as they are private hospital. Was told the charge for a 2 minute Ulta sound would be $1600.

If I paid with credit card on the spot charge would be reduced to $1200. Against my best judgement I paid or I was told to seek services elsewhere (quite a rude awakening). Month later and bills start coming in requesting an additional $600 after the fact! Worst medical experience ever and it's still on-going.

Sat in the waiting room for 6 hours and never seen. Nobody was taken back who was in waiting room. What are they understaffed. One man came and said oh i pickex the wrong day she advised its like this everyday so it doesnt matter when you would came in. I think this is terrible i am ready to move just to be closer to a good caring hospital.

The 5th stars is for the nurses on the 3rd floor and the nurses on ER and Dr M Martin, thank for your hard work. The hospital need to take care for the rooms and cleaning. Was full of patients but old bed to difficult to take care when the patients are alone, and never cleanings staff came the 2 days my husband was here.

This is on the top of my list of worst ER hospitals that I have been to. We have been sitting for over 2 hours for my father to be seen for SOB. This hospital needs to learn on how to take care of there patients that come in ER instead of caring about end of shift, start of shift. Or talking about there personal lives in the front desk. Now I can see why people would rather be in so much pain and wait for the Urgent care then to show up at the ER. Instead of having people call about their experiences, fix the solution. Less wait times and get these patients seen and back home. Worst hospital ever.

So i checked in with severe pain and basically was left to lay on the floor for three hours. I had one nurse go by and laugh as she asked me why I was on the floor. Finally gave up and left and went to TrueCare. They were truly professionals unlike the quacks at Havasu Regional. Update: December 16. They have the nerve to not only bill me for this but they say I have to pay over a hundred dollars for my portion of the bill.

I already told my insurance that I want to press a fraud claim against them. I will not pay anything for such service and they can take this bill and proceed to put it where all such garbage belongs. I highly recommend going to a voodoo witch doctor or a Mexican cartel over these unprofessional people.

If you love your family member, go somewhere else! This doctor owned hospital has zero patient compassion. The "Patient Advocate" doesn't respond to written complaints. My mom's intake doctor had the tact of a horses backside. Deb, the nurse treating my mom was rough, 150% uncaring. She absolutely shouldn't be a nurse on the 3rd floor, or any floor, in any hospital.

She's better suited for shoveling animal waste. She took away my last opportunity to speak to my mom - because she didn't want to deal with her. She knew I'd driven 16 hours to be there, and we called Deb an hour before we arrived to let her know we were on our way to the hospital. Deb felt it was best to give my mom medicines making her unable to wake up - after we spoke with her.

My mom died less than twenty-four hours later. We never got to speak with my mom again. To be clear, my parents have great insurance. Can't imagine the treatment that would have been given if they were indigent As if the deplorable care my mom received wasn't enough, the front desk guy got into a yelling argument with a family member that was clearly upset, which could be heard throughout the lobby.

No one from the hospital staff stepped in, including the doctor that slinked around the corner to avoid the situation. If I could post negative stars - then they'd receive a -5 hands down. I'm 1,000% grateful I'll never have to be treated at Havasu Regional Medical Center! I email & mailed a written complaint 12/06/2020, which I have email confirmation of being received, and sent to the "appropriate person".

As of 12/02/2021 I have not received a return email, letter, or phone call from Havasu Regional Medical Center. They have confirmed their lack of concern regarding the care they provide.

First id like to say that i have been involved in many capacity with hospitals all over the country for the past 40 years. Weather a Patient or as a first responder. I am impressed with the most of the staff. However you don't get that welcome feeling everytime you at admitting at the main hospital or the ER. The cancer center is definitely a great place.

The Drs and nurses and all the staff there are Awesome. I have had many issues with the billing department and mostly they are very RUDE and i had to do there job endless times. They need some new management someone more hands on with more experience

On Aug 12 I was checked into L&D, had planned to have an unmediated birth, but certain things ended up taking an unexpected turn and I ended up having a C-Section around midnight had my daughter at 12:01 Friday The 13th. It was scary for me but the nurses I had Kendra, Lauren & Marti were the best! Kendra helped motivate me to push through the pains in the beginning and keep strong standing by my decision to not have epidural or anything. Lauren came in after and helped me through my fear of having to go into the procedure, also helped deliver my daughter and helped comforted me throughout the night. Marti helped a great bunch with the postpartum & help caring for my baby the next day.

They were the sweetest people I've met and made the whole experience very memorable. The cafeteria staff was also very sweet and very accommodating. I can't thank you all enough for helping during such a crazy time for us Also made my heart so happy to get to have Kendra be the first nurse I had when I arrived and be the one who walked my little family and I out when we were discharged. I miss her all the time lol
