I had two eye surgery's performed bt Dr. Konawol, the laser and ck did not last more than a year. cateract surgery is now complicated due to the procedures she performed. She doesn't keep her medical records over 7 years, why?, is a Zip drive taking up too much space.? My new cararact surgeon asked for the records. I am disappointed at the results and her record keeping. I might have signed a release that surgery down the road might be complicated, but I will never know. Why toss my records? Yes I'm disappointed.

Dr. Konowal was recommended to me for cataract surgery by another eye doctor in Naples, (I have quite complicated vision issues that include 2 cornea transplants). I was very impressed by Dr. Konowal's expertise, friendliness, medical knowledge and the time she took to explain the procedures. Her excellent, friendly and knowledgeable staff did thorough pre op eye-exams and took care of all arrangements for the actual procedures and follow-ups.
My 2 cataract procedures were performed the last 3 weeks by Dr. Konowal at St. Marks Center in Ft. Myers (an excellent facility with great staff) and I am extremely happy with my new vision. I highly recommend Dr. Konowal and her great staff.

Did not enjoy the staff or service at all. Was unable to read the line asked, and still was told "this is your prescription" instead of them trying to adjust it so I had a better time reading it. It was a weaker prescription than previous years which I'm not happy about, I have headaches every day without my glasses! Every staff member i met wasnt friendly and Dr. Konowol had the audacity to insult me on my weight. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR. Please, go somewhere else!
