The Medina County Hospital District was established under and is governed and operated pursuant to Article 9, Section 4, of the Texas Constitution and Chapter 286 of the Texas Health and Safety Code, and other applicable laws of the state of Texas. In 2009, Medina County voters exercised their option to create the Medina County Hospital District.

Guest trays are available, for a nominal cost, to be delivered to patient rooms so family and friends may share mealtimes with patients. Please ask your nurse for more information. For patients celebrating a special occasion, such as a birthday or anniversary, Medina Regional Hospital can make special meal accommodations by sending a small birthday cake or pie.Several specialty items are available for more restrictive diets.
