There are many factors that are important in determining a woman's lifetime risk for developing breast cancer. A breast biopsy showing lobular carinoma in situ (LCIS), atypical ductal hyperplasia (ADH), or atypical lobular hyperplasia (ALH) atypical changes. The purpose is to find the best way to fight cancer. Clinical trials may look at new ways to diagnose or prevent a disease, make current treatments better or assess whether a new treatment is safe.
