My areas of clinical interest are wide-ranging and include rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthritis, and vasculitis. Rheumatology is a fascinating specialty that is rapidly progressing, both in our understanding of inflammatory diseases and the availability of effective treatments. It is truly exciting to be a part of this dynamic field, and most importantly, to see my patients benefit.

I joined the Denver Arthritis Clinic in 2015. Prior to this, I completed my rheumatology fellowship and was selected as chief fellow at New York University School of Medicine. I then joined private practice in Manhattan while also serving as teaching faculty at NYU. The exceptional reputation of the DAC and the draw of Colorado life prompted me to move to Denver with my three children.

Report
I chose the field of rheumatology because it is thought-provoking, requires finely tuned physical exam and history-taking skills and allows me to develop lifelong relationships with my patients. I believe that a multidisciplinary approach is key to treating rheumatologic diseases while keeping the focus on the patient at the center.
