I don't usually write yelp reviews, but when I think I can help other people make an informed decision I feel obligated. I had been thinking about getting LASIK for a few years and finally brought it up to my optometrist who had only amazing things to say about about Dr. Faktorovich and Pacific Vision Institute. Her Husband actually had PRK done by her recently. She said this is the only surgeon she recommends and trusts.
The overall experience was so wonderful, from consultation and testing, to the actual procedure. They are very thorough and transparent and Dr. Faktorovich met with me multiple times to go over the best course of action (I was a candidate for LASIK). The procedure itself is so quick and painless and I cannot believe how well I can see. I was just seen for a post operative visit and I am seeing 20/10!
I am so happy to be done with my contacts and glasses. I really wish I would have done this sooner. Thank you Dr. Faktorovich and Pacific Vision staff for my amazing vision and the overall wonderful experience. I understand why my doctor told me this is the only place to go.

I was extremely impressed with my LASIK experience at PVI. Scheduling the consultation, working through logistics, and payment options was really smooth working with Elizabeth. Dr. Faktorovich made me feel very confident in the technology, equipment, and her experience. She did a fantastic job conducting my procedure! Dr. Chen who I worked with on the consultation and pre-op measurements was also amazing and put me at ease.
The whole process was comfortable and now I can see 20/15, 2 days later! I'm thrilled not to need glasses or contacts anymore. I'm excited to reap the benefits snowboarding, backpacking, and other sports but also just waking up and driving to the office. 100% best decision and investment I've made in a long time.

LASIK is one of the best investments you will not regret. Real life game changer! I wish I got it done 10 years ago. I was referred to the office by my optometrist. I had my LASIK procedure with Dr. Faktorovich and now I can see 20/15. It was amazing how my vision was clear right away, after the procedure. The procedure was extremely fast and painless. The next day, when I woke up my vision was so clear, I was able to drive myself to the next day post-op appointment.
It was so weird waking up and not having to look for my glasses, it was as if I slept with my contacts on. I want to thank everyone at Pacific Vision Institute for making me feel comfortable from the beginning to the end. I highly recommend PVI to all my family and friends!

More than a decade after PRK (I wasn't a suitable LASIK patient) to correct incredibly bad nearsightedness in both eyes and recurrent contact lens discomfort and ensuing headaches, my vision is 20/15! If I had another pair of bad eyes, I would take them there again - for the great pre and post operative care, starting at the reception desk! Thank you Team PVI!
