General Surgery
General Surgery encompasses diagnosis and treatment of diverse surgical conditions. Our surgeons conduct thorough exams, review diagnostic tests, and guide patients through informed decision-making. We utilize open, laparoscopic, and robotic techniques to address gastrointestinal issues, hernias, and other complex conditions. Our focus is on personalized care plans that prioritize patient education and optimal recovery outcomes.
Breast Surgery
Breast Surgery includes evaluation and treatment of benign and malignant conditions. We perform office-based biopsies and coordinate hospital procedures requiring imaging guidance. Our team specializes in comprehensive care for breast cancer, offering surgical interventions tailored to individual diagnoses. Patients receive detailed explanations of treatment options and post-operative care to ensure informed decisions and successful recovery.
Hernia Repair
Hernia Repair addresses inguinal, incisional, and complex abdominal wall hernias using open, laparoscopic, or robotic techniques. We discuss mesh options and tailor repairs to each patient's needs. Our approach minimizes recovery time while ensuring structural integrity. Post-operative care focuses on preventing recurrence and restoring normal activity levels through guided rehabilitation.
Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgery
Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgery enables precise operations through small incisions using high-definition imaging and advanced tools. The da Vinci Robot enhances surgical accuracy for procedures like gallbladder removal and hernia repair. Patients benefit from reduced pain, shorter hospital stays, and faster return to daily activities compared to traditional open surgery.
Endocrine Surgery
Endocrine Surgery treats thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal gland disorders. We specialize in minimally invasive outpatient procedures for both benign and malignant conditions. Our surgeons prioritize hormone preservation when possible, while ensuring complete removal of cancerous tissue. I had to get my gallbladder removed ASAP due to insurance and the academic semester starting. The office staff was very accommodating in this regard and got me in to see Dr. Ashworth for my consultation and the surgery itself very quickly. Dr. Ashworth is very, very nice! He took the time to explain everything and how the surgery was going to happen, and he even recommended a really interesting book to me! I felt 100% positive going into the operation, and I hope everyone has a pleasant experience with them just as I did.

Same complaint.they never answer the phone. I was referred by the VA for gallbladder removal yet Dr Meyer wanted to use StDavid Hospital who I had already stated my displeasure with. He said they offered more advanced technilogical machinery yet when I requested to keep my organ he was to remove, the hospital said no. I want to SEE what's taken out of my body and I want a video to watch how it's done! It's my body, it's my right to witness the procedure!

No one answers calls. Left couple of messages, no return calls. During open hours phone goes to message stating that office is closed. And this is just the beginning of working with them
