Penguins nurture their young until they are ready to go out on their own. We also nurture our young - your children are our children. Parents who rely on the staff of Penfield Pediatrics for their children's health needs find a caring, friendly atmosphere. Our six pediatricians and pediatric nurse practitioner take the time to listen to your concerns and observations. We strive to provide total health care for your children from birth until young adulthood.

Walk-In Hours are designed to provide efficient care of common illnesses of short duration. You do not need to call ahead or schedule an appointment. Simply show up at the office during the "Walk-In Hours". You will be seen on a first-come-first-serve basis. Although we make every effort to see all who arrive, we reserve the right to triage or have you schedule an appointment if the problem is chronic or too complex. The bottom line is - we want to provide excellent care and sometimes a longer, scheduled visit would be more appropriate.

Below is a list of insurance carriers that Penfield Pediatrics physicians participate with. Each carrier may offer several different plans, and Penfield Pediatrics may not accept them all. Please contact your insurance carrier to learn if our providers participate with your particular plan, and the services you require are covered under your plan.

Our "walk-in" hour is from 9am-10am Monday through Friday. This service is most appropriate for children who have acute illness, such as sore throats, earaches, worsening cough and other recent uncomplicated complaints. These patients are seen on a first-come first-serve basis by the next available provider.
