Services
Medication Abortion
A non-surgical abortion option using FDA-approved medications for pregnancies up to 11 weeks. The process involves two medications taken 24-48 hours apart, with 95-98% effectiveness. Patients receive comprehensive instructions for home administration, including pain management strategies and follow-up guidance. This method offers privacy and control while maintaining safety through professional medical supervision.
Surgical Abortion
One-day and two-day surgical options available up to 24 weeks of pregnancy. First-trimester procedures typically take 5-8 minutes with local anesthesia, while second-trimester procedures use advanced dilation techniques for safety. All patients receive pre-procedure counseling, same-day recovery support, and 24/7 post-care access. The process includes ultrasound confirmation, lab work, and comprehensive aftercare instructions.
STD/STI Testing
Comprehensive sexually transmitted disease testing conducted in conjunction with abortion care. Services include Chlamydia and Gonorrhea testing, with rapid HIV testing available in Atlanta. Results are provided the same day, allowing for immediate treatment when necessary. Testing ensures patient safety before procedures and supports long-term reproductive health through early detection and treatment.
Emergency Contraception
Post-coital contraception available over-the-counter for preventing pregnancy after unprotected sex. We provide FDA-approved options like Plan B One-Step and ella, effective up to 120 hours post-intercourse. Our staff explains proper usage timing, potential side effects, and effectiveness rates. Patients can purchase emergency contraception during regular business hours with no prescription required.
Contraception Counseling
Personalized family planning services including same-day IUD and implant insertion. We offer comprehensive education about all contraceptive methods, with medical guidance to determine the most suitable option. Services include hormonal and non-hormonal alternatives, with detailed explanations about effectiveness rates, potential side effects, and proper usage. Counseling is available before and after abortion procedures to prevent future unintended pregnancies.

SUMMIT honored appointment times! So greatful I found this place after I walked out of another facility offering the same service but a cheaper price. SUMMIT MED is well worth the money! I was nervous & booked an appointment at the 1st place I saw unfortunately I didn't pay attention to the 3.1 rating! Luckily I got my whits about me & left I GOOGLED again & paid attention to RATINGS this time. I cry anytime I think of how I almost went somewhere else. SUMMIT WAS PERFECT FOR ME! SUMMIT deserves a perfect 5 in my opinion.
I was treated like an individual & like a human with feelings that MATER! Literally anyone working there asked me how I was feeling & really listened. I can't say enough wonderful things about my personal experience

I was here from opening to closing and still haven't actually been seen. The sheet said don't eat 8 hrs prior to my appointment. The person on the phone told me not to eat the day of at all. Well it's 17th s and I haven't eaten or haven't any water yet. I'm dizzy, weak and tired. DETRIMENTAL. If y'all know we're going to be sitting for so long, LET US EAT prior to our appointment. Someone on staff said we don't know how many people are going to show up. Well schedule people accordingly and you will NEVER have this issue unless you incorporate walk ins. Mind you, I've been here since 9am and writing this review at 4:58pm. yet to be seen.

I read the reviews before coming and it made me skeptical about choosing this location but I'm glad I didn't let it scare me away, a lot of people were saying everyone was rude here, everyone I came in contact with was very nice and patient especially the counselor she wore glasses and was light skin wish I knew her name but she was the best. The ultrasound lady was nice enough to me give a copy of the ultrasound.
The overall experience was good wait times are kinda obsolete but you can expect that especially on a Friday so make sure your schedule is clear. I got here around 8:15am ish and got discharged at 2:25. The only thing I didn't like was that the guy had to poke me with the needle twice for the anesthesia but this is cuz I hate needles. At the end when you wake up they give you a choice of snacks and you get juice and water. So far I only feel minor cramps and light bleeding. I would recommend this place. Also it's very discreet and is all the way in the back of the plaza, thankfully there were no protesters.

Honestly the worst experience a clinic staff has ever offered me. Sarah and Olivia at the front desk upon arrival gave a rude and unwelcoming greeting. Couldn't even bring my small purse inside which held my payment method and driver's license for some odd reason which they refused to explain after I asked twice. While sitting in the waiting room I could easily hear Sarah (in particular) and other employees gossiping about patients private information.
At one point even heard Sarah questioning my nausea concern to water when I only had told my nurse privately in a separate room. Overall the clinic is overpriced and I would not recommend Summit to anyone.
