Services
Well Child Visits
Comprehensive wellness exams track growth and development while providing age-appropriate immunizations and screenings. Our pediatricians conduct developmental assessments, nutritional guidance, and safety counseling tailored to each child's stage. These visits establish baseline health metrics and foster long-term patient-provider relationships through consistent, proactive care.
Sick Child Visits
Timely diagnosis and treatment for common childhood illnesses like ear infections, respiratory viruses, and strep throat. We offer same-day appointments and on-site lab testing for rapid assessment. Our providers develop individualized treatment plans while educating families about symptom management and recovery expectations.
Telehealth Consultations
Remote medical consultations address non-urgent concerns through secure video conferencing. This service supports continuity of care for follow-ups, behavioral health assessments, and minor acute issues. We provide guidance on home care and determine if in-person evaluation becomes necessary.
Immunizations
Complete childhood immunization schedules following AAP and CDC guidelines, including routine and travel vaccines. We offer education about vaccine safety and maintain detailed records for school and activity requirements. Specialized vaccines like RSV prevention are available seasonally.
Developmental Screenings
Structured evaluations monitor cognitive, social, and emotional milestones using standardized tools like ASQ and MCHAT. Early identification of developmental delays enables timely intervention. We provide resources for families and coordinate care with specialists when needed.

We are so grateful to the entire staff and all providers for caring of our two children since the birth of our first in 2016. Everyone at both locations is kind, knowledgeable, personable, transparent, trustworthy, and most of all caring. I'm extremely sad to have to leave this practice due to moving out of the area. PP will always hold a dear place in our heart, thank you for everything! --Shelley Ellis

My daughter has been a patient at Piedmont Pediatrics since birth (she's now 14). The doctors, nurses, and staff have become like family to us as our daughter has a chronic illness. Dr. Mayo is top-notch, always going above and beyond. Drs. Boersma and Michel have also been exceptional over the years. We can't thank them enough for the kind, caring, and proficient medical care we receive. As parents we feel valued and part of the medical *team*, our questions and concerns are always welcome.

We have had *parent only* appointments where illnesses, treatments, trial medications have been thoroughly explained to us. I would not trust anyone else to handle our child and her illness. My only complaint is that they won't let me become a patient. Apparently 42 isn't considered *pediatric*!

Both my daughters have been seen here for a year. We have been extremely happy with our experience with all the providers. Seriously every one of them have been amazing. They had to help us with an emergency situation with one of our children and went above and beyond for us, even helping after they were technically closed. Highly recommend.

I cannot speak highly enough of everyone here. Dr. Mayo is one of the kindest and most compassionate Doctors you will ever find. Dr. Grice came in on the 4th of July, so that they could get my daughters Bilirubin levels checked. The entire practice is informed and kind and caring and empathetic and I cannot imagine taking either of my daughters any where else.

First of all I want to thank to all of the stuff, nurses and doctors. They served us great. I have been working in hospital for more than 10 years and can tell the doctors in the pediatrics are great. I feel that they are approaching their patient as their child and that is most important things for us. During the time (more than one year) we never felt any discrimination (as foreign) this is another great things for them. They are treating people as equal. As a local guide I suggest Piedmont Pediatrics. We already moved to another city. We already missed them. Again Thank to Piedmont Pediatrics.
