Dr Sweeney's office was sad! The staff doesn't wear their masks continuously coughing over documents and swiping their noses. One front desk clerk discussed a mans billing history with her coworkers out loud while he sat in the waiting room How embarrassing! The tech Kelly was extremely unprofessional when I informed her I would stay next to my mom due to her aphasia and trouble communicating. She rolled her eyes!
My mom got flustered due to Kelly's tone and was unable to follow her instructions which made Kelly more irritable. Finally they sent another tech Beatrice who was patient and kind and handle my mom with care! But No matter where I turned the staff had their mask off and violated 6 feet. One young male doctor ignored a patient attempting to hand him paperwork as he passed he simply put his hands in his vest pocket and Said she pointing to a tech will get it and walked off completely rude and the way the treat the elderly is disgusting

In my first visit with Dr. Vincent Venincasa, he showed a high confidence in his assessment of my problem. When he gave me the Lasik surgery, he again showed confidence in his procedure and I could see he was happy that it went well. It did go well and I was able to see clearly immediately. My husband Lance had cataract surgery on both his eyes at Sweeney Eye Associates. Dr. Venincasa and all the staff win the surgery unit did a great job in the prep work for the laser surgery and they were all friendly and answered all the questions I had. Their bed-side manner was 5 stars!

I HIGHLY recommend Sweeney Eye Associates! I went to their Sunnyvale location. The ENTIRE staff went the EXTRA MILE to make sure I had an awesome experience. They are AWESOME! I had my left laser cataract surgery, with TORIC lens. I will return Oct. 4 for right eye. Great place!
