Dr. Cotey is amazing! She is truly caring and listens and acts upon any concern you may have. She is sweet and gentle with my sons and even to me. Aside from that she's a great resource! I was also treated there as a child and got to be seen by Dr. Bailey who is also great! The doctors I have come across are 5 star rating. Receptionists/front desk/call takers/some MA's 3/5.

Cannot believe how uncaring the receptionist for Dr Stout was. We took our 2 year old to ER for High fever. They gave antibiotics and told us to follow up with Salem pediatrics the next day. I called the next morning and multiple times after. Begged the receptionist to get him in because his fever was getting worse. She said because the child had not been seen since last year they would not see him.
We are a military family that got stationed in Georgia recently. We are back visiting our family. I tried over and over to explain but she just kept saying no. I thought pediatric clinic was supposed to care about children. Apparently not.

The portal barely operates, the front desk staff act like they have much more important things to be doing than talking to you. We were forced to wait in an empty room to wait for the doctor to show up. 1 hour and 15 minutes later, oh she forgot, was the only response I got.

Edit- I have to edit my review. Since Covid it's been so messy and gross within the clinic to the point it doesn't look like it ever gets cleaned. Especially In the corners of the rooms. And a receptionist is NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO GET AHOLD OF! Unfortunately I have to look at different clinics to go to. We love this clinic. They are amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, and my son LOVES Dr. VU! He especially loves that she gives us a book almost every time we go! My only issue is it takes FOREVER to get someone on the phone!

Called today after 1pm to make an appt but went to after hours people and I have been hung up on twice after explaining that it was sending me to them and I was trying to make an appt and than click very unprofessional I think I just need to find a different clinic if I can't make an appt for my child lol
