FISH Testing
Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization (FISH) testing identifies chromosomal abnormalities in hematologic malignancies and solid tumors. Our CLIA-exempt, CAP-accredited lab offers panels for leukemia, lymphoma, and glioma subtyping with 4-6 business day turnaround. Pathologists utilize dual-color enumeration probes to detect translocations, deletions, and amplifications, supporting targeted therapy decisions and prognosis assessment.
Immunohistochemistry
IHC analysis identifies protein biomarkers in formalin-fixed tissues using 2-4 day turnaround. Our board-certified pathologists employ membrane, cytoplasmic, and nuclear markers like ALK, BAP1, and PD-L1 to classify tumors and guide immunotherapy. All assays follow CAP guidelines with validated antibody clones and staining protocols.
Molecular Diagnostics
Next-generation sequencing and PCR assays detect actionable mutations in solid tumors and hematologic cancers. Our molecular lab offers BRAF, KRAS, and NTRK testing with 3-8 business day turnaround. Pathologists correlate genomic findings with histopathology for comprehensive reports guiding targeted therapy selection.
Flow Cytometry
10-color flow cytometry characterizes hematologic neoplasms using fresh tissue or bone marrow samples. Our lab provides 24-hour critical result reporting for acute conditions, employing 26-antibody panels to identify leukemia/lymphoma immunophenotypes and minimal residual disease markers.
Special Stains
Special stains aid in identifying infectious agents, amyloid deposits, and tissue morphology. Our histology lab completes stains like Congo Red and PAS within 2-4 business days, supporting diagnosis of rare conditions including Erdheim-Chester disease and Whipple's.

Report
Phenopath is a biotech company in the Fremont neighborhood. They give diagnostic and laboratory results to hospitals, medical clinics and other related companies around the world looking for answers for cancer and pathology. I came in for a business meeting and the people I interacted with were great. There is paid parking spaces along the street but you have to bring cash as the only way to pay is by stuffing cash into the little slots on a collection box.
