Urinary Incontinence
Report
Urinary incontinence is defined as uncontrollable loss of urine. Urinary incontinence is not a normal consequence of aging and childbirth and with early evaluation and appropriate treatment in most cases can be treated and controlled. Continence is maintained by a combination of structural, muscular, and nervous system coordination that if disrupted can lead to urinary incontinence.
Fibroids
Report
Fibroids, also known as myomas, are primarily benign tumors of the uterus that as they grow enlarge the uterus and create pressure on surrounding organs. Fibroids can cause pain, urinary frequency and urgency and sometimes feeling of bloating and constipation depending which pelvic organ they displace.
Prolapse
Report
Vaginal prolapse can cause significant mental, emotional, and physical impediments to a happy sex life. Impaired sexual confidence as a result of the change in the appearance of the vaginal organ has been studied extensively. Women report embarrassment as to the appearance of the vagina which inhibits relaxation and enjoyment during intimacy.
